Dalí: The Oneiric – Dreams and Delirium

“Oneiric – Dreams and Delirium”is an exhibition dedicated to the dream world of Salvador Dalí, a journey through the original works of the famous Catalan artist, belonging to the “Dalí Universe” collection of Beniamino Levi. The exhibition path winds through the psychological and mental space of the master, conceived as a place of dreams and imagination, an area of the unconscious and its brilliant madness. The heart of the exhibition is the dream space of the surrealist genius, an introspective and emotional exploration of his creative mind, told through his sculptures, enriched by multisensory exhibits, scenographies, large projections, holograms, music, and suggestive and engaging voiceovers.
The exhibition, inaugurated on August 16, 2024, is on until October 17, 2024 at the China World Mall in Beijing and is the first of three stages that will take place in China, offering a real journey into the creativity of the surrealist genius.
The exhibition is curated by Beniamino Levi, president of The Dalí Universe, and directed by Roberto Panté, Artistic Director of The Dalí Universe.

The Museographic Project

Phantasya has taken care of the museographic itinerary, presenting the original Dalinian works starting from storytelling with a refined narrative. Through multimedia exhibits produced with the most advanced technology and a large section dedicated to virtual reality, it offers a highly immersive experience, in a multisensory path of the highest visual impact.

The Exhibits

Framing and supporting the artistic scope of the works are various multimedia exhibits; the interplay of sounds, shadows, graphic perceptions, and an original soundtrack create a unique atmosphere. A multimedia path composed of holograms, 3D mapping, virtual reality, projections, and sound perceptions blends with the beauty of Dalí’s works, creating a storytelling experience that makes the visitor experience the exhibition as a cinematic and immersive journey.

The Installations

Phantasya has also curated the installation aspects of the exhibition: the display cases and supports for the works, designed specifically for the exhibition, panels and infographics scattered along the exhibition route, the lighting and multimedia design project.
