Dante Inferno

Dante Inferno – Immersive Exhibition multisensory exhibition dedicated to the’Inferno of the Divine Comedy, produced by WIPLAB Srl and hosted in the evocative setting of the Pala Eden in Edenlandia in Naples.
Under the artistic direction of Roberto Pantè and the technical direction of Cesare Pistilli, the project reinterprets Dante Alighieri's masterpiece through a contemporary language that fuses art, technology, spectacularity and narration, leading the visitor on an emotional journey through the circles of Hell.

The Museographic Project

Phantasya Communication curated the creative concept and the development of the museographic project, designing an immersive narrative path capable of accompanying the visitor from the entrance to the exit of the exhibition. The experience was conceived as a progressive descent into the ’Dantesque universe, articulated through scenographic environments, multimedia installations and moments of strong emotional involvement. The project integrates cultural content, storytelling, immersive technologies, and educational tools, with the aim of making Dante's work accessible and engaging for audiences of all ages.

The Exhibits

The exhibition features a series of technological exhibits designed to amplify audience engagement and transform the visit into a memorable experience. Among these, Dante Alighieri's’hologram welcoming visitors at the beginning of the trail, immersive high-definition video projections, multisensory environments, synchronized audio content, interactive installations, and a’metaverse experience developed with a strong film cut at 360°. The program is completed by a docufilm dedicated to Dante's Inferno and digital educational content designed for schools and families.

The setups

The scenographic installations were designed to create a highly immersive and visually striking experience. Large scenic fifths, themed panels, architectural elements, light effects and evocative settings transform the exhibition spaces into a journey through the symbolic places of the Divine Comedy. The integrated use of light design, sound design, scenographic projections and digital technologies contributes to building an emotional environment capable of engaging the visitor on a visual, sonic and perceptual level, promoting a total immersion in Dante's narrative universe.
