Design e Innovazione Digitale: Roberto Pantè nella Giuria Internazionale di Huawei
On October 14, the inauguration of the Camellia Garden – Bistro and Cultural Lab took place at the Royal Palace of Caserta. The project brings together the enhancement of historical and botanical heritage, employment inclusion, and the fight against gender-based violence.
As part of this initiative, developed through a partnership between the Museum of the Royal Palace of Caserta and the social cooperatives EVA, Terra Felix, and CARLA, Phantasya contributed to the project with the creation of a hologram of Maria Carolina of Habsburg-Lorraine, under the artistic direction of Roberto Pantè. The experience combines historical research, storytelling, and technological innovation to bring the Queen’s story to life through an immersive experience.
For Phantasya, it was an honour to contribute to an initiative of such significance, inaugurated in the presence of institutional representatives and prominent figures from the worlds of culture and entertainment. The hologram is the result of a research and creative development process involving dialogue writing, animation development, and the creation of the Queen’s stage presence, with the aim of transforming historical storytelling into an engaging experience for visitors.
Her immersive presence is one of the project’s distinctive features, connecting the history of the Royal Palace with the contemporary message of the Camellia Garden. The choice of Maria Carolina, whose life was deeply connected to this place and who played a significant role in the political and diplomatic affairs of her time, reflects the desire to bring renewed visibility to a female figure who went beyond the traditional role of a royal consort, asserting her own influence and initiative. Through the storytelling and immersive reconstruction developed by Phantasya, the Queen thus becomes a symbol of female autonomy, in keeping with the values of inclusion, empowerment, and new opportunities for women that lie at the heart of the project.
