From 29 October 2020, the virtual exhibition
www.istitutoamedeomodigliani.it is available at www.istitutoamedeomodigliani.it “In the Spirit of Modigliani”, an exhibition project produced by Phantasya under the artistic direction of Roberto Panté and conceived by the Amedeo Modigliani Institute to mark the centenary of the Livorno-born artist’s death (1920–2020).

You will step inside the home-studio of Amedeo Modigliani and experience the emotion of “In the Footsteps of Modigliani”, the virtual exhibition that traces the life, works and memories of the great Master. You will be welcomed on your tour by Modigliani himself, who will show you around his room; Kiki of Montparnasse will reveal his nudes; his beloved Jeanne Hébuterne will show you her portraits; Beatrice Hasting will introduce you more closely to the Italian artist’s mentors; and his friend Kisling will lead you into the portrait room. Their voices will guide you through the exhibition, and their biographies will enrich your experience. All the works and photographs on display are equipped with buttons offering historical and artistic information; by interacting with the objects, you can access personal accounts, interesting facts and in-depth insights. There is also a room of memories housing photographs of his dearest loved ones, and a cinema room to enhance your experience.
