Dalí Siena: From Galileo Galilei to Surrealism
The exhibition “Dalí Siena – From Galileo Galilei to Surrealism” was inaugurated at the Palazzo delle Papesse in Siena on 19 September 2020 and exhibits around 100 of the artist's most important works, which tell the story of the great interest that mathematics and science aroused in the Master of Surrealism.
The exhibition itinerary was conceived and created by Dalí Universe, a company directed by Beniamino Levi specializing in the promotion of Salvador Dalí's works under the artistic direction of Roberto Pantè.
The exhibition analyzes the relationship between Dalí and the mathematical sciences and how these influenced his works, his vision of the world of space and time, how his tormented psychology and his restless soul we wandered at the center of the disintegration of those fixed points that had previously characterized the boundaries of man.
